| Alex Frankel is a brand observer, journalist, and consultant. Alex has written two books that examine branding and marketing in the context of modern culture. He is the author of Wordcraft: The Art of Turning Little Words into Big Business and Punching In: The Unauthorized Adventures of a Front-Line Employee. Alex has written about business culture for magazines that include Fast Company, Wired, and The New York Times Magazine. Alex works with clients through his consulting firm Ground Level Research studying people and brands in their natural habitats to help clients to see their services from new angles and better understand their markets and customers. Alex studied modern culture and media and received a BA in English Literature from Brown University.
